Ice Ignition Voltage Booster#IC2216

The ICE Ignition 2216 Booster converts a 10 to 15-volt input and produces a steady output of 16 volts to the main power cable of inductive systems. It produces a maximum continuous rated output of 15 amps or 20 amps for 30 seconds. Best of all the ICE Ignition 2216 Booster it is not dependent on the alternator to produce the 16 volts to coil positive. If space or weight is an issue the alternator can be removed with no impact to the Voltage Booster. If the alternator is installed the ICE Ignition 2216 Booster will supercharge the alternator's voltage output of 13.8 - 14.8 to 16 volts. 

Please Note: Due to a known issue we do not recommend using the ICE Ignition 2216 Voltage Booster on any Ford fitted with a "Barra" straight 6 engine, this includes both naturally aspirated and turbo engines.
