These uncoated mild steel, LONG-TUBE headers fit the most iconic passenger cars to come out of Ford and Mercury between 1964-1977, with a 260-302W (also fits factory-equipped 351W 69-73 Mustang. for 351W swap, use Hedman's 88660 header series). Among this prestigious list is 1964-73 Ford Mustang and Falcon, '66-73 Ranchero & Torino, '69-77 Maverick, '66-70 Fairlane, '67-73 Mercury Cougar and'70-73 Comet models fitted with a 260-302W engine. These headers fit Manual or C4 (only) transmission equipped vehicles. The long, smooth 1-5/8 in. tube design provides excellent exhaust flow to let your Ford Windsor block engine breathe deep, and produce excellent horsepower and torque gains.
These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures. For protection against the element and lower underhood temperatures, these headers are also available with a silver or black ceramic-metallic finish, as well as 100% stainless steel construction.
Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.
