With no chain, these Cloyes timing gear sets provide the ultimate in timing reliability. They include a steel crankshaft gear and either an aluminum or ductile iron camshaft gear. Cloyes timing gear sets have been precision-hobbed and crown-shaved to provide an accurate gear-to-gear mesh with no wear and tear on the gears.
